I thought I’d seen it all!
I have been watching Sarah’s site for a long time now; this blog is about her Palinbots, so I read most of what they say (yes, I do it so you don’t have to!) At times, the comments there are funny, and I have a special little scrollbox on the right of this site, aptly named Mindless Palinbot Posts; visitors to this site can spend a few minutes of ‘OMG time’ reading this amazing collection!
Some are disgusting; for a while, posts praying/hoping for President Obama’s death were popular. Many ‘veiled’ racist comments about who does and does NOT belong in ‘our White House’.
Most of the comments are just plain boring … “only you can save our country” … “you’re a breath of fresh air” (one of my favorites) …. “you are a great Mother/Wife/Christian/leader/role model (usually spelled roll, or course)…. ” just finished reading your book and it’s the most inspiring/truthful/well-written (yep, they do say that!).
Other comments are amazingly ignorant. It is no surprise that Sarah’s base is so uninformed, since so many of them proudly proclaim that they ‘only watch FOX’. As I have written about on several occasions, Palinbots are ready to beleive ANY conspiracy that reaches their Inbox, and can’t wait to log onto Sarah’s site to spread the nonsense that makes the rounds of the ‘hater’s mail-list’. Obama cancels prayers. Obama sending millions to Palestine. Obama to sign document giving American sovereingty to the UN. Obama is a Muslim/Socialist/Kenyan terrorist/Facist etc.. (mostly these are words or concepts Palinbots don’t understand, but hey!) Obama plans re-education camps. Obama wants schoolkids to bow to him instead of saying the pledge of allegiance. It never ends; if it’s BAD it’s BELIEVED.
So, why should I, after over a year of visiting Sarah’s site be shocked at something I read there? After all, you would think nothing would surprise me now!
Well, think again.
The following 2 posts (in reverse order, because Addy Basone Massimino is too stupid to figure out how to post on Facebook) DID shock me. Shocked that anyone could be THIS stupid, THIS gullible and frankly, so ruled by her hatred for the President that any remnants of logic have been obliterated from her mind.
Word or word, this is what is on Sarah’s page. (first one is the continuation of the second one, because, as I said she is too stupid to know how to post on Facebook.)

Addy Basone Massimino During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, “Stand and Face It”.

‘Senator’ Obama replied:”As I’ve said about the flag pin, I don…’t want to be perceived as taking sides”. “There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression..” “The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing.”(ARE YOU READY FOR THIS???)
ANY thinking person can spot this immediately as ridiculous. It’s not even a good attempt at satire ……. it’s squarely aimed at the people who hate President Obama so much that they will believe anything that confirms their darkest suspicions. A 2 second Google search debunks this nonsense, (here, here, here, and many more) including the fact that there is no such person as Dale Lindsborg at the Washington Post. But …. Addy doesn’t care to verify the story, because she LOVES IT .. it confirms her hatred.
And .. what of Sarah Palin? Her site is highly moderated: we KNOW that posts that don’t ‘conform’ to the LoveSarah/HateObama theme are promptly deleted….. the poster is banned …….. nothing stays on Sarah’s site — her OFFICIAL SITE btw, that is where she trolls for donations to her SarahSCAM-PAC .. that is where she releases her ‘policy Notes’ ….. that is where she spreads her Duh!-du-Jour …. SO, we know that anything that stays on Sarah’s OFFICIAL site has her approval.
Shame on you, Addy. Shame on all you Palinbots who are so full of hate that you embrace your ignorance with such gusto! But, mostly, shame on you, Sarah Palin, for being so willing to use your ‘celebrity status’ to provide a gathering place to people like this.
